Claim Collection Policy

The RCC has inherited the claim collection policy of HLAC and adheres to three fundamental principles--"strength," "speed," and "integrity." Under the guiding principle of "not imposing a secondary burden on the public," exhaustive efforts are made to achieve full recovery of the purchase price of acquired claims.
Furthermore, recognizing that collection operations must be conducted in a fair and transparent manner and with the trust of the public, the RCC emphasizes that it does not associate with antisocial forces. At the time of its establishment, the RCC introduced two additional guiding principles: (i) "collection with both determination and consideration," and (ii) "aiming to be professionals in collection."
While the spirit of these policies has been continuously upheld, it has evolved over time. Currently, under the basic philosophy of "fulfilling the public mission entrusted by the public as a Designated Bank of the DICJ in an appropriate and prompt manner and contributing to the stability of the financial system," greater emphasis is placed on addressing each case carefully and on conducting appropriate collection tailored to the actual circumstances of each debtor.
